Super Saturday November 1st

Our Super Saturday is quickly approaching. Saturday, November 1st we will be meeting at the church from 9:30-3:30 to follow Elder Uchtdorf's counsel from the last General Relief Society Broadcast and immerse ourselves in the work of the Father, create beauty and be compassionate. This blog is designed to give you all a chance to view the projects available at your own leisure. You can e-mail me what projects you would like to do or simply sign up at the church on Sunday.

We're requesting that you take time in the next few weeks to sort old clothes, jewelry, baby clothes, kids clothes, shoes, etc.. to bring with you on Saturday. We will be collecting all your donated items, getting them somewhat sorted with our impeccable organizational skills then opening it up for a swap. You never know, someone may have just the item you've always wanted and the best part being it's all free! Once everything has been thoroughly picked over (as I'm sure it will) we will be donated the remaining items locally. Sound like a good idea?
I thought so....so start sorting!

Okay, now for the good stuff.
We have come up with a variety of creations (sorry I like that word much better than crafts) and have shopped around for the BEST prices! You can click on any of the items to get a closer view.

Not your traditional magnet board
$8.00
(you will need to bring fabric of your liking to cover the metal 41/2" x35")
You can display the magnet board horizontally or vertically
and design it for any area in your house. Price includes 5 glass magnets
(check out two pictures down)

FHE Jar

$3.00 (sorry, we had to up the price for the jar but still a bargain)
And ours will be much cuter!
There are 150 random LDS related questions for those Monday nights that you need an impromptu lesson. They are sure to get your family talking and laughing together.

Dear Santa Plate
(price varies with plate)
red round plate with vinyl decor $9.00 (this price went down considerably)

Red and White plate (writing will be black)
$6.50

Red Square Plate (exact design as red plate)
$8.50
(my favorite)

Reversible Apron
You will need to provide the fabric 1 1/2 yard ea. of two coordinating fabrics and we will provide the rest (unless you want a specific thread color then bring that, too).
Easy enough!

Night Lights/Decorations
Cost $10.00
We're working on providing the lights but it may cost an extra $1.50
We will keep you posted! There are five options.

Option #1 Snowflake with coordinating ribbon

#2. CTR with paper on back
This works great for a child's night light

#3. Let it Snow - a lovely "winter" decoration
which in Idaho means you could leave it out half the year:)

#4. Wise Men...very classy (bow on top)

#5. Candy Cane

Clipboards
Did you ever think clipboards could be so cute?
These are multifunctional and darling gifts.
The options are endless.
Hang them on the wall as art and clip your shopping lists,
to do lists, have one for each child (a chore list),
great for friends...you get the point.
Price varies from $1.50 - $4.00
We will have paper available to purchase ranging from 10 cents a sheet to about $1
If you want to bring your own then feel free
(I think Roberts has the cutest selection).
$1.50 would be the basic least expensive paper and nothing additional.
$4.00 would cover the nicer paper, ribbons and a matching flower pen
Enlarge the photo...they're super chic!

Vinyl Tile - reads "HOME is where your story begins"
$6.00 (easel not included)

Live, Laugh, Love Board
$10.00 (a super deal)
You can choose between two other sayings:
Families are Forever & Faith, Family Friends
Personalize with photos to keep for yourself or give as a gift.

Color and Glitter Ornaments
3 for $1.00

Red, White & Green Ornaments
$2.75

Snow Ornaments
$3.50

We will also have a quilt set up to tie and quiet books to be sewn. Please let me know if you are willing to pay for and sew the quiet books. They are $3.50 each and will be donated to the Humanitarian Center. And don't worry...they're super easy!!!

We will need to have all orders and $ collected by next Sunday. If you need to pay on Saturday, the 1st, that"s fine just make sure you let us know what projects you will be doing so we can order the correct amount.

Thanks so much and we can't wait to see you there! Now go sort through your old junk...it may just be another's treasure!
